The installation guide for the cable routing kit includes instructions for installing the shifter hose, brake hose, and oil hose. The kit consists of a main magnet, inner cable/DI2 E-tube guide wire, shifter brakes oil tube guide wire, DI2 E-tube adaptor, and an exit guide wire. The installation manual is available in English and German versions, and there are detailed pages and videos for reference.

To install the shifter hose, brake hose, or oil hose, use the line (2) with the main magnet (4) to guide it through the frame and out of the frame. Once the line (2) is out of the frame, connect the tube that needs to be installed and pull the line (2) straight out of the frame through another exit. The length of the cable is 200 cm, making it suitable for most frames.

For the installation of the inner cable, use the line (1) in the same way as line (2) in the previous step, and connect it to the inner cable adaptor (1) and press down with the DI2 adaptor (3) to prevent it from falling off while passing through the frame.

To install the DI2 E-tube, link the line (1) and adaptor (3) together, connect it to the DI2 wire connector, and use the main magnet to lead it out of the frame. However, the DI2 E-tube adaptor is not applicable to R8000/R8050/R9070/R9150/R9160 3rd generation electronic transmission.

If it is difficult to pull out the guide wire with the main magnet from the frame exit, the exit guide wire (5) can be used. It is recommended to determine by sound whether the main magnet attracts the wire in the frame.

When using the main magnet to guide the wire, it is important to be cautious of any existing oil hose or inner cable in the frame, as they may cause the magnetism to break and prevent movement. To counteract this, it is suggested to use the main magnet to tighten and push the guide line at the end with your hand to keep it moving.
